By accessing or using Skills Playbook ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Skills Playbook is a platform that provides AI-powered career and automation assessments. The Service analyzes your job role and provides personalized insights about AI automation potential, helping you understand which tasks to automate, delegate, or master.
3. Account and Access
To use certain features of the Service, you must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Pricing and Billing
Our Service offers free summary assessments and paid detailed reports:
- Free Assessment: Provides an overview of your AI automation potential at no cost.
- Full Report: One-time purchase that includes detailed implementation roadmaps, task breakdowns, and personalized recommendations.
Prices are displayed in your local currency where available. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. You will see the exact price in your currency before completing any purchase.
All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated at checkout.
5. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our refund policy varies by region:
- European Union: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws. To exercise this right, contact us at legal@skillsplaybook.com.
- United Kingdom: You have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- Australia: Refunds are provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law for major failures or when services are not fit for purpose.
- All Other Regions: We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your report, contact us within 7 days for a full refund.

6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any laws or regulations; (b) infringe on the rights of others; (c) transmit harmful code or malware; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; (e) use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Skills Playbook and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. AI-generated outputs are for informational purposes only and may contain errors. You should review all outputs before making any decisions based on them.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skills Playbook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, subject to your local consumer protection rights which cannot be waived by contract.
- European Union Residents: You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under EU consumer protection laws.
- United Kingdom Residents: These Terms are governed by English law, and you may bring proceedings in English courts. You also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
- United States Residents: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Australian Residents: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- All Other Regions: Disputes will be resolved under the laws of England and Wales, subject to your local mandatory consumer protection laws.
11. Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve any disputes amicably. If you have a complaint:
- Step 1: Contact us at legal@skillsplaybook.com. We will try to resolve your complaint within 14 days.
- Step 2: If we cannot resolve the dispute, you may pursue formal dispute resolution.
EU Residents: You may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Regional Consumer Rights
Certain jurisdictions provide additional consumer protections that cannot be waived:
- European Union: You have rights under the Consumer Rights Directive, including clear information about the service before purchase and the right to withdraw from digital content purchases.
- California: Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to consumer information from the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services.
- Australia: Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, such provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it will be severed from these Terms.
